Medical Support for Nigerians.

Every now and then, we come across people that need support to offset medical bills or for...
Adegoriola, my 4 month old son and second child is a patient at the Paediatric Cardiology Unit of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba Lagos.
Clinical evaluation indicated that Adegoriola has symptomatic congenital heart disease, which was confirmed by echocardiography to consist of complete unbalanced Atrio-ventricular canal defect (Moderate sized ostium primum Atrial septal defect, large inlet Ventricular septal defect, moderate Atrio-ventricular valve regurgitation) small patent Ductus Arteriosus, severe hyperkinetic pulmonary hypertension.
The doctors have told me that my son's disease is very rare, complex, dangerous and cannot be treated/operated in Nigeria, and requires immediate surgery in India at the earliest possible time otherwise, his suffering and situation will deteriorate rapidly. My family is in great despair. The estimated amount state by the Hospital in USD $15,000 which translates to about N6,750,000 - The cost of treatment have been reviewed after a recent medical trip to OAU Teaching Hospital
Our economic situation isn't bouyant and cannot afford international medical expenses. My only hope is in the goodwill, compassion and generosity of Nigerians. Trickles of your widow's might will be appreciated.
You may wish to contact the Consultant Paediatrician in charge of his case at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba.
Thank you
