What are you raising money for?

We are raising funds to support child amputees across Nigeria who are living with limb loss and urgently need prosthetic care. Currently, over 310 child amputees are in our waiting pool, many of whom come from low-income families that cannot afford the high cost of prosthetic limbs, fittings, and rehabilitation. Without access to prosthetics, these children face daily challenges with mobility, confidence, education, and social inclusion. This fundraising effort exists to bridge that gap and give these children a chance at a fuller, more independent life. Now is the moment to show that love is not measured by limbs, but by the lives we choose to lift. Together, we can be the reason a child smiles again and believes in their future.

Why are you raising the funds?

We are raising these funds to empower over 150 child amputees living with limb loss by encouraging consistent monthly giving. Prosthetic care is not a one-time intervention; it involves assessment, fabrication, fitting, physio-social support, and follow-up support, especially for growing children who will need replacements over time. Monthly contributions allow us to plan sustainably, respond faster to urgent needs, and reach more children who are currently waiting for help. By spreading the cost across a community of supporters, we make prosthetic care more accessible and achievable. This approach ensures that no child is left behind simply because of financial limitations, and that long-term impact is created through shared responsibility and compassion.

What will the funds raised help achieve?

The funds raised will help provide hope and restore dignity by empowering child amputees with their first prosthetic limb. Each contribution goes toward the full prosthetic journey, including medical assessment, prosthetic fabrication, fitting, rehabilitation, and follow-up care. For a child, receiving a prosthetic limb is more than mobility, it is the ability to return to school, play with friends, and participate confidently in daily life. These funds will directly impact children who have been waiting, sometimes for years, for support. By equipping them with prosthetic limbs, we are not only transforming their physical abilities but also rebuilding confidence, independence, and belief in their potential.
