What are you raising money for?

We are raising money to support an education-focused outreach that provides school bags and pays school fees for under-resourced primary school children in Ibadan, Nigeria. This campaign is designed to keep children in school and prevent them from being pushed into domestic work due to financial hardship. Funds raised will directly sponsor children’s education for each academic session, giving them the tools, support, and opportunity to learn in a safe classroom environment. The funds raised will help achieve the following: 1. Pay school fees for vulnerable children each academic session, ensuring they remain enrolled in school instead of being withdrawn due to poverty 2. Provide school bags and basic learning support, helping children attend school with dignity and confidence 3. Reduce child domestic work in Nigeria by addressing one of its root causes, lack of access to affordable education 4. Protect children from exploitation and abuse, offering a safe alternative to domestic labour Improve school attendance and learning outcomes, giving children stability and routine 5. Boost self-esteem and motivation through empowerment sessions that reinforce the value of education By investing in education, this campaign directly tackles child domestic work in Nigeria and helps children stay where they belong in school, learning and building brighter futures.

Why are you raising the funds?

We are raising these funds because many children from low-income families are forced out of school and into domestic work simply because their parents cannot afford school fees or basic school supplies. Current report on Child Domestic Works (CDW) in Nigeria shows: 1. 48% started in domestic work before the age of eleven years. 2. As part of the survey, the average age of CDWs consulted was 14.6 years old. 3. The average age these children entered into domestic work was 10 years old. 4. 46.3 percent of CDWs faced conditions that constituted human trafficking, according to indicators set by the U.S. Department of State’s Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons (TIP). Without support, these children miss out on education, stability, and future opportunities. By raising funds, we can remove these financial barriers, keep children in school, protect them from exploitation, and give them the chance to learn, grow, and build a better future through education.

What will the funds raised help achieve?

The funds raised will help keep vulnerable children in school by covering their school fees for each academic session and providing essential school bags and learning support. This will reduce the risk of children being withdrawn from school and pushed into domestic work due to financial hardship. The funds will also support empowerment sessions that build confidence and reinforce the value of education. Overall, the campaign will help improve school attendance, protect children from exploitation, restore dignity, and give them a safe pathway toward long-term educational and life opportunities. Our mission is to end children's slavery and exploitation by fostering positive advanced childhood experiences through education. Collaborating with schools, parents, teachers, and local entities, we aim to identify and address educational gaps.
