Nigeria is characterized by a high level of insecurity, ranking it one of the least peaceful countries in the world. As of March 2022, Nigerians ranked their concern of robbers and thieves on a scale of 0-100 points (100 being the most severe concern) within their community. It was reported as 66.04 points that the people of Nigeria ranked larceny as their most significant concern within their neighbourhood. The increase of crime, homicide, and poverty is rising and contributing to the insecurity within Nigeria, and the problems that the people of Nigeria are enduring are affecting their livelihoods. Nigerians inhabiting internally displaced camps are being overwhelmed with shortages of (water, food, and clothing). Insecurity is the state of being open to danger or threat; or the lack of protection. This is an undesirable situation for humanity, as it hinders human freedom, pursuit of prosperity, social interaction, and the necessity for a sustainable community.  

Our goal with this project is to alleviate Nigerians from the pressures of insecurity by fundraising money for small businesses to support them, providing food and relief materials for the internally displaced peoples (IDPs), and investing money towards providing Nigerians with the tools to acquire skills for self-development.
