What are you raising money for?

I am raising money to get my hip replacement surgery done. I’m suffering from Osteoarthritis of both hips which is a gradual degeneration of the hip bones, my doctors said its due to my genotype Sc which is a Variant of the sickle sell(Ss) anemia. I have been give been on medications for the past 14years now but the medications don’t do much help anymore because the pain has worsened over time and the degeneration has become very severe, this is what I’m raising raising funds for please i need help. I dropped out of school (National open university of Nigeria )in my second year(2014) because the pain was unbearable and my parents couldn’t afford to sponsor me anymore because my dad was involved in an accident so it made it easier to forfeit my education even though i could’ve tried my best to graduate but the circumstances were not favorable.

Why are you raising the funds?

I am raising the funds urgently because my hip bones are deteriorating really fast and I don’t have the money to get my hip replacement surgery done soon so I’m here seeking help from all the kind hearted and good people out there. It makes me feel so ashamed and very unhappy having to depend on others before i can get anything done for myself Earlier time when it wasn’t this severe i tried to work so i can at least save money for my check ups and injections cause the injections were meant to slow down the degeneration of the hip bones but i couldn’t go through with that as well so i stopped and ever since I’ve been seeking help every where, that is why I’m raising this funds please help me

What will the funds raised help achieve?

This will go a long way in helping me get my life back as i have been stuck in the house for over 14 years now, i cannot go anywhere without physical help from another person or the aid of the crutches i was given by my doctor, i had to drop out of school in my 2nd year in the university (National open university) year 2014 because the pain got unbearable for me plus my parents couldn’t afford to pay for my schooling anymore, ever since I’ve been home seeing my friends graduating and achieving life goals but i have been stuck at home, please the fund raised from here can really help me become a healthy and a happy person again please don’t look away from me i have no other hope help me please I’m all worn out, I don’t want to die painfully like this
