I recently got admitted to study Entrepreneurial Leadership at the African Leadership University with a grant/tuition waiver of $2000 but even with the grant, I can't still afford the remaining tuition fee I am left with to pay. I really need help raising funds for my studies as I am unable to afford it. Aside from my tuition fee, I am required to raise money for my accommodation and feeding on campus as my grant does not cover them. My parents have been trying to source funds and I've also been job-hunting for the past few weeks but the money we managed to raise can't cover 20 per cent of my tuition.
African Leadership University is the school with the best environment and curriculum to achieve my dreams and purpose as it targets Africa's development which I am very much interested in. I don't want my dream for a better Africa to get dashed and washed away because of my financial difficulty which is why I am calling for fundraising and financial assistance. My parents can't afford the tuition, for my mum is an underpaid civil servant and my dad does not earn an income. The current exchange rate and inflation in the country have also been unfavourable. I have not been able to obtain additional funding to make up for the partial tuition remission offered to me by ALU.
Education is said to be the passport to the future for an investment in knowledge pays the best interest and I can assure you that I am truly worth the investment. I hope that you can help me by donating, sharing with your friends, and families and with Non-Governmental Organisations that can support me with funds. The funds raised will grant me access to quality education and also help me be a step closer to achieving my dream of positively influencing Africa's growth by solving problems through entrepreneurship and also giving back to society. I am grateful for your contributions and I look forward to your donations. Thank you.
