What are you raising money for?

My beautiful daughter, Taiwo Olasoji, is with a serious and life-threatening heart condition. Taiwo was diagnosed with Cyanotic Congenital Heart Disease at 5 weeks. In 2014, she underwent correction of truncus arteriosus and closure of the ventricular septal defect at The German Heart Center in Berlin Germany. She has been an outpatient of Lagos University Teaching Hospital Idi-Araba since after the surgery where her condition has been carefully monitored with several Eco tests done. Taiwo is now 9 years old and with the results of the several Eco tests conducted, it has become imperative that Taiwo undergoes further Cardio Vascular Evaluation to redo open heart surgery to replace her classified conduit to forestall irreversible and life-threatening complications. Now, she needs urgent treatment to save her life.

Why are you raising the funds?

We come to you today with a heavy heart, seeking your help in saving the life of our precious daughter. As her parent, it breaks our hearts to see our little girl suffer. We have done everything in our power to provide for her and give her the best care possible, but the cost of her treatment is simply beyond our means. That is why we are reaching out to you. We humbly ask for your support in the form of donations to cover the cost of our daughter's surgery (Pulmonary valve implantation) (£60,000.00)(#30,300,000).
