8 of 10 School Girls in the NSUKKA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA use Paper for Sanitary Pads. We are soliciting for your Support to Get Them A Pad. This is where Period Stigmatization comes in. Period Stigmatization is the discrimination faced by people who Menstruate. This Discrimination has done more Harm than Good in the lives of Young Girls. You can imagine a Girl Child of about 13 to 15 years, who does not know what menstruation is; suddenly menstruating in the classroom during class hours. This will make her a laughing stock and a topic of discussion amongst her mates. Some will start seeing her as an abomination thereby, keeping their distance from her. We believe through our Donation and Collection of Unused Pads at our collection centres in UNN; we believe it will go a long way.

This girl will be forced to exempt herself from Public and Social activities, some victims might even stop attending classes, and some will start seeing themselves as Bad Luck Carriers for about a week every month during their menstruation; which is very bad.
We believe through our Donation and Collection of Unused Pads at our collection centres in UNN; we believe it will go a long way. It is quite so sad that in some communities around the world, it is considered rude or embarrassing to discuss Periods; leaving people with the wrong conception and information about Periods. We strongly believe that Creating Safe Spaces to have conversations; exchange knowledge to Empower and Build their Self-Esteem is a Good Way to End Period Stigmatization and Giving them Free Pads is the best means to End SANITARY POVERTY. Thank you so much for your Supporting and God Bless you. Together we can fight and End Period Poverty.
