Hi-Impact TV (startimes channel 145) flagship breakfast show; Tea or Coffee would be starting a fundraiser to celebrate children’s day this year and Olusoye Compensatory Center, has been selected as one of the schools we would be raising funds for to support the good work they are doing for these very special children. This fundraiser is in a bid to celebrate children's day this year. Tea or Coffee is focusing on special needs children for this years children’s day, bringing awareness to the work schools like Olusoye Compensatory Center are doing and promoting more inclusion. After visiting their facility and speaking to their finance director, we know that this fundraiser will meet their needs.
We are raising funds to support and raise awareness for special needs children in Nigeria to commemorate and celebrate children's day this year. Tea or Coffee also plans to shoot a documentary to this effect but please note that the money raised here will not be included in production cost of the documentary. All the money raised here will be sent directly to Olusoye Compensatory Center for special needs children and adults to support the work they are doing for these children. As an organisation (Hi-Impact Studios), one of our core values in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals, is to promote equality and inclusion in the society through carefully curated contents that will be impactful to the audience. We are convinced that this project is an efficient way to contribute our quota towards achieving that. Focusing on special needs children within the education space and the reality of childhood enables us to operate within our corporate ethics and values.
The funds raised will go to Olusoye Compensatory Center for special needs children and adults. Olusoye Compensatory Center is the outstanding legacy of a renowned visionary, social worker, special educator, administrator, international consultant and founder, Mrs. Ellen Olusola Caulcrick, whose lifelong passion was to serve and educate persons with disabilities to become independent and productive citizens in the society. Olusoye Compensatory Centre is a non-profit making private school. Fees charged barely cover the monthly payment of staff salaries, books, teaching aids, special equipment, meals and the maintenance of the Centre. The initial set-up of the Centre was made possible through the founder’s retirement benefit and other personal and family financial resources. The Centre benefits from time to time from the generosity by charitable individuals and organizations
