What are you raising money for?

We represent a non-governmental organization known as JUDE FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHTS AND SOCIAL JUSTICE INITIATIVE, which is officially registered and compliant with all legal requirements to operate as an advocacy and pro-bono legal aid services in Nigeria. We earnestly appeal to your generosity support the comprehensive freedom and reintegration of over 70 inmates across Nigeria correctional facilities, a project initiated in Oyo State from December 6, 2024, to March 31, 2025. For a prolonged duration, the absence of legal representation has led to the unjust detention of numerous innocent individuals who lack legal counsel in Nigerian correctional facilities nationwide. Acknowledging the seriousness of this urgent matter, we, as a Human Rights Organization, humbly request your financial contribution, regardless of its magnitude, towards our free legal aid pro-bono initiative outlined above for the liberty and reintegration of inmates into a more desirable society in Nigeria.

Why are you raising the funds?

Our steadfast dedication is to champion for the marginalized individuals in Nigeria, particularly those unjustly imprisoned in correctional facilities across the country. Our aim is to secure the release and reintegration of a minimum of 70 innocent Nigerians, regardless of their location within any correctional facility, commencing from Oyo State, Nigeria. To achieve this goal, our initiative will involve prison visitations, legal documentation, interactions with all pertinent law enforcement agencies, as well as consultations with the offices of state commissioners of justice. This endeavor has been underway since December 6, 2024, and will continue until March 31, 2025. Our community is facing significant financial obstacles that our organization is striving to overcome. While we are actively pursuing current solutions and related programs, we implore your assistance to amplify our impact on humanity and society in pursuit of a better Nigeria that we envision.
