Financial Support for Kidney Transplant Surgery

What are you raising money for?

To cover the cost of kidney transplant surgery for Mr Nonso Onwuechezona as the family can't afford to cover the expenses associated with the surgery. The family have been battling to raise fund for the operation for more than 22 months, he is bearly surviving on dialysis which is another medical cost consuming every little fund coming to the family aside the medical emergencies. Mr Nonso Onwuechezona have limited time with us on this side of time if nothing is done urgently. This is therefore a passionate appeal to all well meaning individuals to come to the aid of Mr Nonso so he can have a new lease of life as well as take away the physical agony that comes with his present medical situation.

Why are you raising the funds?

The total cost of the surgery is a little above 24,000,000 Naira from the medical bill as can be seen in the attached document. This amount is quite astronomical for the family of Mr Nonso Onwuechezona and with the call for support from extended family and friends the amount received so far can't scratch the bill, having to recall also that dialysis needs to keep going on while awaiting the surgery. Fortunately help have been coming thanks to the generosities of those that promised to take care of most of the medical bills for the surgery thereby bringing the amount left to 5,000,000 Naira. We seek to raise 5,000,000 for the surgery to take place as soon as possible.

What will the funds raised help achieve?

The fund raised will be added to the funds secured already to pay for the kidney transplant surgery which we are hopeful will be a great success which in turn will restore Mr Nonso Onwuechezona back in health. The fund will give the young man another chance to be an addition to the human society. In addition, it will take the burden of mental stress off the young man who is the patient as well as his family that have been standing with him all this while especially in the area of sourcing for fund and also put an end to the emergency and frequent visit the hospital.
