Becoming a widow can be the beginning of a whole new set of problems and hardships.
Widows are faced with sudden urgent fears of providing for the family. Difficulties of how they can afford to eat,pay rent or keep their children in school and also achieve their dreams
Through Clap Care Foundation's three days ( 28th - 30th of April 2021 ) event "EMPOWER A WIDOW" 100 widows will be empowered on how to support themselves and their families through acquiring some reliable skills.
This event is designed to support the women through untold hardship and discrimination. It will provide them with the needed opportunities and financial empowerment by making available necessary care packs and seed funds to start businesses and improve their lives.
We also strive to counteract loneliness, social isolation and loss of confidence in widows through this event.
Widows become extremely vulnerable upon their husband’s death and their lives turned to living hell by in-laws.
Let’s join hands to equip and empower a widow through skill acquisitions and make her dependable
