What are you raising money for?

Blissful Firstborn Empowerment Foundation (with CAC Registration number 6960326) is an NGO with the mission and vision to enlighten, educate and empower struggling youths and women in our society irrespective of gender, sex, ethnicity, religious or regional differences. The NGO seeks to: 1. Provide ICT and entrepreneurial education for job creation and sustainability 2. Support people with both formal and informal education to acquire vocational skills in areas of type-setting, fashion designing (tailoring), hair dressing, phone repairs, grassroots sports development, etc. 3. Support the government in efforts to enlighten youths and women on their roles during electioneering period and in governance, and also in the distribution of voter's card, etc. 4. Design and support women empowerment programs, and 5. Support the sick, helpless pregnant women, and destitute. The aim of raising funds therefore is to identify these categories of people who continue to struggle in an effort to meet ends need, by keeping themselves busy doing productive activities to assist themselves, their families and the society at large. From our interaction with mostly young people, they have plans to embark on small and medium scale businesses but just as always, the major challenge remains funding. WITH YOUR SUPPORT THEREFORE, WE CAN PUT SMILES ON THE FACES OF OUR YOUTHFUL GENERATION, VULNERABLE WOMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES. We can only attain fulfillment by fulfilling other peoples' dreams. Please support us to support many others out there.

Why are you raising the funds?

A wise and intelligent man once said that a rich family does not forget or leave poor people or families behind. A former US President also adviced the rich to always protect the poor with their resources. It is honourable to always impact lives positively. Today, there are families that go to bed without eating food. Some can afford food only twice a day (commonly described as 101) while some, just once a day ( commonly described as 001). Yet, we live in the same environment, go to the same places of worship, same market, schools and hospitals, etc. Some are even friends to our children. Is having positive impact on their lives not worth it? We, through this NGO have decided to impact lives in a positive way, but we cannot do much as we are financially handicapped. THUS, THE NEED FOR CREATING A CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN AND SOLICITING FOR YOUR SUPPORT. TOGETHER WE CAN IMPACT LIVES POSITIVELY FOR A BETTER TOMORROW.

What will the funds raised help achieve?

Funds raised will help to achieve a whole lot, especially in the lives of many who are yet to see, or don't even think anything good can come to them in this life. Hope will be restored to many lives through this Foundation and crowdfunding campaign by the special grace of God. How will you feel when you know that someone ate because of you and went to bed peacefully? Hunger is a crises ofcourse. How will you feel knowing that someone attained some knowledge and, or skills because you supported, and became successful such that they can support their families just because you decided to say "yes, I will support....." I believe you will not only feel good but fulfilled. This is the driving force over here too. We can only be fulfilled when we help others fulfill their lives. The funds raised will be used to support struggling but determined Nigerians to identify the areas of business ventures they intend to go into but starting capital is an obstacle and major challenge to them. This program will be run in phases and mentorship will be provided at intervals. In the long-run, beneficiaries will be exposed to understand the power of leverage for true financial freedom.
