What are you raising money for?

Our mission is to empower teens and young people by providing them with the inspiration and resources needed to grow and develop their skills and talent into a career. We believe that EDUCATION is instrumental to achieving this. Therefore, we are going into several less privileged communities within Lagos State, targeting teens and young people in Senior Secondary Schools from the age of 15. We will equip them with at least one textbook or literature book to enable them to prepare and sit for their external exams because these exams are stepping stones to planning and achieving a better future.

Why are you raising the funds?

According to The United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF), 10.5 million children were out of school in Nigeria as of 2020. Ongoing three years, these numbers have almost doubled, with over 20 million children and young school dropouts in research conducted by UNESCO. Limited access to school supplies due to poverty remains an alarming reason for the decline of continuous education. However, this decline has given rise to idle bums roaming the streets and an increased unemployment rate resulting in high crime participation and thuggery in the society. The only way we can curb this is by investing in their foundation, which is to have adequate access to education.

What will the funds raised help achieve?

Funds raised for this project will be used to provide Textbooks and Literature books to enable students to prepare and write their external exams. These exams include; 1. West African Examination Council (WAEC Exam) 2. General Certificate Examination (GCE), or 3. The National Examination Council (NECO Exam). Excelling in these exams is the student's commitment to achieving their dreams while also building the foundation for a better future. Also, access to an adequate education and educational supplies is the first step to reconstructing our society, and curbing the menace of unemployment and the terrible effects it has on society at large.
