What are you raising money for?

The money raised for the project will be applied towards the object of the work, i.e., Completion and Refurbishment of Toilet Facility in UBE JSS, St. John's Gboko. Essentially, the money raised will be used to purchase materials that will be used in completing and refurbishing the toilet. Items like sand, cement, iron, water closet system will be purchased during the course of the work. The money raised will also be used in the remuneration of workers (labourers) employed for the work. The money raised will be exclusively used in refurbishing the toilet. Altogether, monies received will be properly accounted for, in line with the NYSC policy.

Why are you raising the funds?

It is important to raise the funds because we believe that one person cannot solve the entire problems of the world, it can only be solved by collective efforts. The raising of the fund is to give opportunity to those who may want to support the project to do so. The choice of a Crowd-funding platform is to give room for accountability and tracing of the funds, including how much was eventually spent on the project. Raising the funds will help well-spirited individuals home and abroad to see the progress of the donations and the efforts put into the project.

What will the funds raised help achieve?

The funds realized will help the project greatly, as money received will be used for the procurement of materials for the work. The funds raised will help accomplish the digging of a sock-away, the masonry, the tiling, the painting, the roofing, installations and all other jobs which are necessary or ancillary to the project. Basically, the funds solicited will be channeled to the execution of the project. Accountability is provided as individuals will have access to how much money has already been given in support for the project.
