What are you raising money for?

Christmas is one period of the year when the subject of family is magnified. Infact, our most vivid recollections of Christmas involve the time and experiences shared with our family. Peace Ayogu does not have this luxury. The fact that she has had two marriages dissolved for some reason sorrounding her inability to bear a child by natural means, means that as we revel with our families this yuletide, she will drench in her pain and misery. But you can make a difference. You can be the difference. Peace Ayogu has opted to adopt a child and this can be made possible with your contribution. These little things are often the things that matter the most. We are grateful for your family. Grateful that you do not have to pass through something like this. FertilityHelp Foundation  was founded to put the hope of having a child within reach, for all families, irrespective of their income. The Foundation raises money to financially support families, raise awareness of the widespread occurrence of infertility to increase awareness of the high direct and indirect costs of assisted reproduction. To assist couples, and sometimes individuals, who want to become parents but for medical reasons have been unable to achieve this goal via the natural course.

Why are you raising the funds?

Unfortunately, the scourge of infertility isn't discussed enough. Certain traditional, religious and cultural limitations within our social construct, ensure victimization of individuals and couples struggling with the scourge. FertilityHelp Foundation is raising this funds to invest in sustained advocacy on behalf of individuals and couples who have been stereotyped by the challenge of infertility of which Peace Ayogu is one. We are raising the fund to ensure that we are able to cushion the emotional and financial burden of trying to conceive, on peace Ayogu who want to have children but is not able to do so by natural means. It remains our goal to put the hope of a child within reach for as many people as possible .

What will the funds raised help achieve?

Funds raised here will be used to help in the adoption process for Peace Ayogu. As earlier expressed, Christmas is one period of the year when the subject of family is magnified. Funds raised in FertilityHelp Foundation usually cover expenses associated with assisted reproduction such as Intra-uterine Insemination (IUI), Invitro Fertilization (IVF), egg and sperm donation, egg freezing, and surrogacy for beneficiaries, in this case, adoption. It will equally be tailored towards achieving medical treatment, surgical interventions, process adoption for couples, surrogacy interventions, Hormone management as well as alternative and ancillary therapy. It will also be invested in advocacies and awareness interventions and will also be put towards effective pre and post procedure management and counseling, irrespective of whatever procedure is recommended by any of our consulting physicians. Most importantly, It will help put laughter on the faces of couples and perhaps return hope to them - that for us, is priceless. The ripple effect of strengthened marital bonds will ensure a decline in the skyrocketing divorce rate across board. Pure and sustained joy to the lives of the couples is a priceless gift, we hope the rest of the planet share in.
