Funding Goal

Primary School pupils in underserved communities in Nigeria who cannot read at grade level today are on the track to being our Nation's biggest problem and least skilled citizens in the nearest future.

Reading is a prerequisite for most adult employment, continued personal development, achievement, and a continued democracy. And sadly, some states use their elementary students' reading failure rates to predict future prison sizes.

Highly affected and most vulnerable are those in underserved schools and communities. Tackling this big problem is what birthed the initiation of PROJECT BOOST-UP INITIATIVE, which aims to mitigate the negative impacts of poor literacy skills ( reading, writing, and communication) through the provisions of learning materials and resources and organizing after-school academic intervention classes, programs and activities using a modern standard model for children and schools in underserved communities in Ogun Waterside, Ogun State, Also, the establishment of a fully equipped READING HUB in the pilot schools ( Local Government Primary School 1, Ibiade, and St. Thomas Anglican Primary School, Abigi, Ogun Waterside, Ogun State ) to sustain a reading culture in pupils in the school and communities.

This project would help boost self-esteem, confidence level, and leadership skills in pupils to be fully equipped for the journey of becoming global leaders.

Furthermore, the impact of this project will reduce the high rate of out-of-school dropouts, social vices, and crimes in society.

Therefore, DONATIONS made to this pool will be used to secure teaching and learning resources ( textbooks, novels, literacy kits, charts, notebooks, boards, development of curriculum, worksheets, etc ) and establishment of a fully resourced READING HUB.

To achieve these set goals and objectives of this social development course, we deeply seek to partner with individuals and organizations to create more sustainable income and increased the scalability of this project to other low-income communities.

Thank you, in anticipation of your donations, sponsorship, and partnership.
