Africa is home to millions of young talents and sports is one beam of hope for them. Despite this, over 200 million African children are exposed to the dangers of exploitation and trafficking through sports.

AMPZ is a sports technology startup providing a platform to connect African talents to verified opportunities. As part of our bid to support sports development and curb exploitation, we are pledging to shape and connect 100 outstanding athletes in 5 years through our incubation programme but we cannot do this without you.

We believe “ability is nothing without opportunity” and that is why we are fundraising N12,957,500 ($35,500) to support the first cohort of 15 athletes in the programme. This fee would cover their development fees, kits, trials, tournaments and camps.

WHAT WE PLAN TO DO: In collaboration with our development partners including The Future Academy, Juventus Academy Nigeria and MPAC Sports, selected athletes would be undergoing an initial one-year of intense development while AMPZ builds their profiles to get them matched with verified opportunities including scholarships and professional deals to kickstart a career.

LOCATION: The first cohort of Athletes will be trained with our development partners in Lagos, Nigeria.
